A list of the things we lose in life. All our efforts to better ourselves ultimately lead to decay. Joe visits an elderly woman in the hospital. Although she’s articulate, she shows signs of dementia. Joe talks about sex and death. After ending a relationship, Joe feels for his ex-girlfriend, who is distraught. Later, fascinated, he listens at her door to the sounds of her and her new boyfriend making love.
